Gabby
I am the mathematics ambassador. I work with Aunty Barr to help out with the breakfast club. On Wednesday I go around the classes and find out how many children have bussed, biked or walked to school. The class with largest number of children who have bussed, biked or walked get a certificate and trophy to keep for the week. My goal is to have a mathsathon in Term 2. I enjoy reading and maths of course. |
Devyn
I am the sports ambassador. My personal goal is to improve my sporting performace. I help Mr Ginns setting up games, looking after our sports gear and keping the Phys Ed shed tidy. I will be helping Mr Ginns spend the sports budget. I represented Greerton Village School at Touch Rugby, indoor soccer, ripper rugby, basketball and West Cluster cross country and athletics. I like to spend time with Deano who I admire and look up to. |
Teagan
I am the inquiry ambassador. My goal is to make children more aware of science by challenging them with a weekly science question. I enjoy snorkling, swimming,, music and sport. I have been in the school band for he past two years playing keyboard and singing. I have also been involved in Kapa-Haka for four years. |
Alex
I am the music ambassador. I have a big goal and that is to get the radio station up and running. I read and record scripts for the radio station. Tune in to GVS 88FM to hear us. I know I will have achieved my goal when people are listening and enjoying the radio station. I am a member of GREEVOUS school band, the Kapa Haka group and help with the breakfast club. When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with my family. |
Eden
I am the communication Lead ambassador. It is such a pleasure to be an ambassador at Greerton Village School a once in a life time opportunity. I am Room 11's buddy ambassador and will enjoy spending time with them in class. I have represented Greerton Village School in the Western Bay speech finals. I am working hard to be a member of the school band. In my spare time I like doing my home work and playing with my cousins and friends.

I am the technology ambassador. One of my goals is getting the radio station set up on air at GVS 88FM. Make sure you listen in. You will hear the latest songs and DJ Gleny Glen. Apparently he is awesome. I have represented Greerton Village School the regional finals in swimming, and Western Bay speech competition. I enjoy water skiing, swimming and computers. |
Sophie
I am the literacy ambassador. So you would guess that I work with Shonia the Librarian. One of the jobs I am undertaking this year is opening the discovery centre twice a week at lunchtimes. My hobbies are reading, stamp collecting, snorkling, swinning and having fun. |
Sanjeshni
I am the cultural ambassador. I work with Aunty Barr to help her with Waiata in assemblies. My job is to work with Mrs Langley to try and encourage our pacifica community to begin pacifica dance groups at school. My buddy class is Room 9. I spend time reading with them on Friday. When I am not at school I enjoy reading and doing art. |
